My name is Yvonne Bendler. I was a cooking teacher for 12 years until retiring a few years ago. I have taught adults on a variety of food topics. Sharing the results of my creating and testing recipes is the reason for this site. Having made something I think is great, I am compelled to alert the world! I have self-published a number of cookbooks and published a bi-monthly recipe newsletter for six years. One of my cookbooks was focused on a variety of 40 cheesecakes. You will see a number included in this site. I love to bake and cook, but I am not willing to dedicate my life to a lengthy recipe. At the same time, I find little flavor in these 3 or 4 ingredient recipes. I enjoy setting an interesting table. Look at my “Just A Thought” page for ideas, hints and decorating tips.
