3-4 lb. beef brisket | 1/4 tsps. ground allspice |
1 can beer | 1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1 cup (8 oz.) tomato sauce | 1 small red pepper, diced |
1 cup chili sauce | 1 small green pepper, diced |
2 Tbs. Balsamic vinegar | 1 lg. onion, diced |
2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce | salt and paper to taste |
1 clove minced garlic | Cooking oil |
If your brisket is too large to fit in slow cooker, cut in half. In a large fry pan place oil and brown meat. Place in slow cooker. Place remaining ingredients in fry pan and heat through . Pour over meat and cook on low, 8-10 hours. Slice thinly and place of grilled rolls.
