Glazed Pork Roast

The glaze stuff in this recipe would be wonderful on big thick pork chops or even chicken. It's the best barbeque sauce you ever tasted and easy too. Shred any leftover roast and reheat it with the glaze and put it on a roll for a great tasting sandwich.

3-4 lb. rolled pork roast
garlic salt, to your taste
salt and pepper
mild chili powder (No, this does not make it hot!)

Glaze:
1 cup catsup 1-2 tsp. chili powder
1 cup apple jelly     2 Tbls. cider vinegar

Season meat with garlic salt, a little salt and pepper and sprinkle well with chili powder. Place in a foiled lined roasting pan and roast covered for 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 325F. Combine glaze ingredients and microwave for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes to melt jelly. Pour glaze over the roast the last hour of cooking. Add a little water if glaze starts to stick to the bottom of pan. Baste often. Slice and serve with sauce. Rest assured, this is not hot and spicy.
