Brandied Hot Fudge Sauce

I have tried many hot fudge sauce recipes, and always come back to this one. It stays nice and creamy on the cold ice cream and doesn't set up on the spoon.


4 cups minature marshmallows 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup of sugar 1 1/4 cups evaporated milk or
half and half cream
2 to 3 Tbls. Brandy, Rum, or Grand Marnier    1 Tbls vanilla

Combine everything except vanilla and brandy in a three-quart sauce pan. Heat over low heat stirring constantly until all is melted. Add vanilla and brandy. Stir and pour into jars, chill; serve warm. Makes about  3 cups.

Microwave Instructions:
Place everything as above in an 8 cup micro-save container. Microwave on high for two minutes. Stir to blend and microwave two more minutes, stirring smooth. Add vanilla and brandy.
