These ingredients may look weird but this is a wonderful salad with a French type dressing.
1 lb. fresh spinach, washed and dried | 1 can sliced waterchestnuts, drained |
4 hard cooked eggs, peeled and sliced | 1/2 lb. fresh bean sprouts |
1/2 lb. bacon, crisp and crumbled |
Toss these things gently and just before serving, pour on dressing.
1 cup salad oil | 1 Tbs. minced onion |
1/2 cup cider vinegar | 3/4 cup sugar |
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce | 1 tsp. salt |
1/3 cup catsup | dash or two of pepper |
Combine everything in food processor or blender.
