Crock-pot Lemon Chicken |
A tangy, sweet and sour chicken. Serve with steaming hot rice for your family's enjoyment.
3 lbs chicken, cut up | 4 Tbs. catsup |
1/2 cup flour | 1 Tbs. cider vinegar |
3 Tbs. oil | 1/4 cup cold water |
1-6oz. can lemonade concentrate, thawed |
2 Tbs. cornstarch |
3 Tbs. brown sugar |
Coat chicken pieces with flour and saute in oil until golden brown. Put chicken in crock-pot. In a bowl combine the lemonade, brown sugar, catsup, and vinegar. Mix well, and pour over chicken. Cook chicken on high setting for 3-4 hours or on low 6 - 8 hours. Remove chicken and set aside. Combine the water and cornstarch and add to liquid in crock-pot stirring until mixture is thickened. Pour over chicken and serve. Serves 6.
