Italian Beef, Peppers and Cheese

Let your deli help you once again with this sandwich. Much like a Cheese Steak sandwich but this ones way better!


Have prepared rolls open on baking sheet. In fry pan put butter and oil and shake in some garlic powder, as much as you like. Sauté peppers and onions until just tender. Distribute evenly (so no one fights) on rolls. Sauté mushrooms until tender. Divide among sandwiches. Add a little more butter if necessary and quickly sauté meat, adding a little season salt, if desired. DO NOT OVER COOK THE MEAT OR IT WILL BE TOUGH. JUST HEAT IT THROUGH! Put on rolls and top with cheese. If you like the cheese real melty, nuke in microwave for 15 seconds for each sandwich or put in a 350F. oven for 5 minutes. Makes 4 large sandwiches.
