PINATA COOKIES

Yes, these have a little surprise in the middle.


3/4 cup butter or margarine     1 - 7 oz. pkg. Brachs chocolate covered caramels
1/2 cup sugar 1 cup powdered sugarchocolate
1 egg 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vanilla 4-5 tsp. milk
1 3/4 cups flour Garnish: Chocolate shot or jimmies

Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg and vanilla. Blend and add flour. Cover and chill 1 hour. Form 1 level tablespoon around each piece of candy. Bake on ungreased or parchment covered baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350F. oven for 15 -18 minutes. Cool cookies on a rack. In bowl combine powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk to make a dipping consistency. Dip top of each cookie and sprinkle with jimmies. Makes 36 cookies.
