Butterscotch Pudding

This is an old recipe. You’ve never really tasted butterscotch pudding until you’ve tasted this.


2 eggs, separated   3 Tbs. flour
2 cups milk 2 Tbs. butter
1 cup brown sugar     1 tsp. vanilla

Combine egg yolks and milk and whisk. Put this mixture in a saucepan and add brown sugar and flour. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thicken slightly. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Beat whites until stiff and fold into pudding mixture. Pour into bowl and chill.
