Do you need a quick and easy summertime dessert? When peaches are in season, slice and sugar a few. Place a slice of pound cake in your dessert dish, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, some peaches and top it with this sauce.
| 1 cup brown sugar | 12 large marshmallows, halved |
| 3 Tbls. flour | Dash of salt |
| 1 3/4 cups hot tap water | 1 tsp. vanilla |
| 2 Tbls. butter | 2 Tbls. dark rum, optional |
Combine in food processor or blender brown sugar, flour, water and butter. Blend smooth. Microwave uncovered on high for two and half minutes, stirring once during cooking time. Add remaining ingredients, mix and micro two to two-and-half-minutes more. Stir once during final cooking time. Cool and then chill. Serve warm. Excellent over ice cream.
