Line the pan with foil for ease in cutting. Just lift out when cool and
cut. These are fantastic!
1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips | 1/2 cup butter | 2 eggs | |
1 tsp. vanilla | |||
1 tsp. instant coffee powder | 3/4 cup flour | ||
3/4 cup brown sugar | 1/2 tsp. baking powder | ||
1/3 cup chopped pecans |
Melt chocolate and butter together, add coffee powder. In bowl cream brown
sugar and eggs. Add vanilla and chocolate mixture. Combine and add dry
ingredients. Mix just to blend. Fold in walnuts and bake at 350F for 25
- 30 minutes in a 9" square pan. Cool.
1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips, melted |
1/4 tsp. coffee powder |
1 8 oz. cream cheese, soft |
1/3 cup raspberry or apricot jam |
1/4 cup powdered sugar |
Add coffee powder to melted chocolate. Cream the cream cheese and jam.
Add remaining ingredients. Beat until fluffy. Spread on brownies. Chill and
drizzle with glaze.
Glaze: 1/4 cup chocolate chips + 1 tsp. solid shortening. Melt together.
Chill and cut.
