Cream Cheese Whipped Cream

When you want to decorate the edge of a cheesecake or any dessert, this combination of ingredients pipes well, tastes good and most of all, holds up great. Adding this around the top and bottom edge gives the cheesecake a real professional look.


1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. finely grated lemon peel. opt.
1 pt. whipping cream or 1/2 pt. Rich Whip
1 tsp. vanilla

In food processor cream the cream cheese, sugar and peel. Cream so that it is pourable. Whip cream stiff, adding vanilla. Fold cream in with a whisk to keep this light. Chill slightly if mixture is too soft to pipe. Flavorings can be anything you like.
