Dry Rub for Grilled or Smoked Meats

I like this combination after playing with a few. I usually double or triple this. Make this and alter seasonings to suit yourself. If you’re leaving skin on chicken, get some of this under the skin as well as on top. You can still marinade ahead? or add sauce as you grill. The rub is the thing this grilling season!


3 Tbs. sweet paprika        2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. onion powder 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. celery salt 1 tsp. ground coriander
2 Tbs. salt

Put all ingredients in mini-chop or blender and mix well. Keep on your shelf in a tightly covered jar. Makes about 1/3 cup.
