Serve this on top of sausages or burgers. Great as a side dish.
2 - 16 oz. cans Bavarian style sauerkraut | 1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1 lg. sweet onion, sliced | 1/3 cup catsup |
3 Tbs. butter | seasoned salt to taste |
2 Tbs. worchestershire |
Put kraut in colander and rinse in cold water. Squeeze kraut well to remove most of the liquid. Place butter in a large fry pan and saute onion until tender. Add kraut and cook until it browns slightly. Season, adding remaining in-gredients. Simmer to blend, 10 minutes. Place in container and chill. Makes 2 cups. Keeps well in the refrigerator.
