Honey Baked Red Onions

A great accompaniment with any grilled meats.


3 large red onions or Vadalia’s     1 tsp. grd. coriander
1/4 cup water 1 Tbs. Balsamic or cider vinegar
1/3 cup honey 1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. butter, melted freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. sweet paprika

Peel onions and cut in half crosswise. Place cut side down in a micro-safe baking pan. Pour on water, cover, cook for 5 minutes, turning dish half way through cooking time. Uncover & let cool. Remove onions to plate, turning cut side up. Combine remaining ingredients, brush on cut side of onions. Place on a greased grill, cut side down; grill just until golden brown. Serves 6.
