A great accompaniment with any grilled meats.
3 large red onions or Vadalias | 1 tsp. grd. coriander |
1/4 cup water | 1 Tbs. Balsamic or cider vinegar |
1/3 cup honey | 1/2 tsp. salt |
3 Tbs. butter, melted | freshly ground pepper |
1 tsp. sweet paprika |
Peel onions and cut in half crosswise. Place cut side down in a micro-safe baking pan. Pour on water, cover, cook for 5 minutes, turning dish half way through cooking time. Uncover & let cool. Remove onions to plate, turning cut side up. Combine remaining ingredients, brush on cut side of onions. Place on a greased grill, cut side down; grill just until golden brown. Serves 6.
