Heat this sauce in the house and set pan on the side of the grill. Just pop cooked brats in sauce to keep warm.
1/2 cup bottled chili sauce | 6 oz. can tomato paste |
1/2 cup brown sugar | 2 Tbs. soy sauce |
2 Tbs. cooking oil | 1 Tbs. prepared mustard |
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder | dash or two hot sauce, opt. |
1 tsp. chili powder | freshly ground black pepper |
1 med. onion, chopped fine | 12 oz. can beer |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
Combine everything in saucepan and simmer for 25 minutes. Refrigerate until needed.
